Anyone that knows me, knows I like bass. There is absolutely no doubt is this setup will not be able to rock your world. I packed it in the trunk of my VW 4-Motion w8 for about 10k miles and I barely drive. Overall I can estimate that I had the system for about a year and it always ran clean. No pops, snaps, white noise, clips or nothin’. The box was originally built by a professional installer who I drove all the way to Fort Meyers to see. He charged me $350 for the fiberboard, perfectly tuned especially for low to midrange frequencies, but mostly for low. If you’re a fan of 20Hz @ 130dB @ 1 M, I suggest you go for this. If you don’t want to go that low, then you can get a new box cheeper than $350 and still be on top considering the subs will cost you about $150 each brand new and the amps, which were kept on a 4G wire with inline fuse and circuit breaker, around $400 each used. Overall it’s a killer package for $650 when everyone else is selling it separately for about +$1k.
Believe me when I tell you, I will be sad to see this setup go. It’s perfect for my new CRV and I’m dieing to listen to some ultra low frequencies off the back of that hatchback window!
